SMALL, STRONG AND INEXPENSIVE

With 3 box sizes there is a solution for every building situation. For example, couplings, separators or offset inlets. Element heights up to 3.500 mm are possible. The emphasis is on rational assembly and ease of access for maintenance and replacement work by means of the tried and tested slide-in technique. Heat insulation in the EXTE EXAKT roller-shutter box system achieves all values required according to EnEV. The roller-shutter box becomes an integrated part of the window and improves its energy efficiency.

LARGE SELECTION - MORE THAN 130 COLOURS

There is a very wide range of colours available today for plastic profiles. In order to be able to deliver even small profile quantities in the desired colour, EXTE has expanded its competence and installed a new, fully-automatic PVC sheeting unit. This guarantees rapid reaction times between order and delivery even in the case of smaller order quantities. With over 130 different sheets, EXTE can meet even unusual customer requests.

PART AND FULL DÉCOR - OPEN FOR FINE DESIGN

All-round perfect covering in full decor. Design can be provided according to customer’s wishes, as different colours can be provided on inside and outside. Even small delivery quantities if needed. With part decor, the insides remain white. Sheeting is provided in this case on the outside and on the guide channels, matching the specified colour of the frame.

SLIDE IN TECHNIQUE – INGENIOUSLY SIMPLE

The major advantage of the EXTE EXAKT roller shutter system lies in its slide-in installation system. The complete drive with the roller shutter is pushed into the box by means of slides, just like a drawer. This not only increases the efficiency during assembly, but also improves access for maintenance and replacement.

SLIDES – PERMANENTLY STABLE

The slides are made of a high-performance plastic developed for the automobile industry. Motors and gear mechanism can thus be mounted directly on the slide. No need for expensive support plates. This greatly simplifies processing and storage, and reduces costs.

SUITABLE FOR ALL WINDOW SYSTEMS

The EXTE EXAKT roller shutter box fits all window systems. A whole range of adapter strips is available for all the different frame profiles

SIMPLE ASSEMBLY

EXTE is very careful about the connection between window frame and the roller shutter. The special adapter strip, available for every profile system, is latched onto the blind frame in the workshop. The window and roller shutter box can therefore be transported separately to the installation site, saving transport costs. At the installation site, the roller shutter box is then simply lowered from above onto the window frame and pushed forward until it latches into place with an audible “click”. Couldn’t be easier.

MAXIMUM TIGHTNESS

The adapter strip and floor board are constructed so that an airtight and watertight and clean connection to the blind frame is achieved. There is therefore no need for any additional measures such as sealing or battening. The construction itself ensures a permanently sealed, seamless and stable connection.

SPECIAL REINFORCEMENT IRON

The problem with upper fixing of large window elements or window-door elements when the roller shutter box is in place is well known in practice. EXTE solves this problem with its special reinforcement iron. With this unique solution, the window element is structurally reinforced. Window widths of 2,40 m can thus be realised up to building heights of 8 m without the need for any extra ceiling fixing.

For fixing the EXTE EXAKT roller shutter to the window, EXTE offers a variety of fixing shafts to fit every window system perfectly.

ROLLER SHUTTER GUIDE CHANNELS

A comprehensive range of roller shutter guide channels made of plastic and aluminium complete the EXTE EXAKT roller shutter system. These can be used optionally for mini and maxi schutter slats. For the guide channels corresponding inlet guides and closing caps are available. Aluminium blinds can also be used with aluminium windows or large elements.

INSECT PROTECTION FOR WINDOWS AND DOORS

The insect protection system in EXTE EXAKT does not change the roller space. This means that larger sizes don’t lead to higher costs. The positioning of the screen in front of the roller shutter also provides the advantage that insects cannot even enter the roller space in the first place. This also means damage to the screen by the rolling shutter can be reliably avoided with very little cost. This also improves accessibility to the screen for maintenance. The insect protection system is available for all box sizes.

GUIDE CHANNELS - SIMPLE ADDITION OF INSECT PROTECTION

The roller shutter boxes can on request also be delivered so that subsequent installation of the insect protection is possible. The guide channel with the running groove for the screen is then already fitted; the groove is, however, covered with a filler strip until the screen is to be inserted. This means that buyers of individually sold apartments will be able to make an individual decision.

WINDOW INSECT PROTECTION

EXTE has developed a special latch-locking mechanism that is particularly easy to operate. The mechanism functions without moving parts and ensures permanent reliable functioning. Your insect protection system can therefore be installed without complications or the need for any special force.

EXTE-FIX TENSIONING SYSTEM

If the screen ever becomes defect or soiled through many years of use, it can be very easily changed. The screen of the window blind can be easily accessed when the roller shutter cover is opened. The patented EXTE-Fix tensioning system also greatly simplifies assembly. This saves time and money.

DOOR INSECT PROTECTION - UNIQUE FOR EXTE

The patented door roller is integrated laterally in the guide channel. The screen is drawn out by means of an ergonomically designed handle. Special emphasis was again placed here on simplicity of operation: the door roller can be easily opened and closed with one hand. Replacement of the screen is equally easy. Simply removing the cassette in the patented EXTE- 2-in-1 guide channel allows the screen to be removed and replaced.

AESTHETIC AND PRACTICAL - SIMPLE OPERATION

Even door systems with widths up to 2.600 mm can be realised with two-part door insect protection. This gives the user complete insect protection whether the door is open or not. If the door insect protection is not required, it will disappear almost completely into the guide channel. Only the aesthetic holder bar remains visible.

ALL-ROUND PROTECTION - ALL VARIATIONS POSSIBLE

The insect protection system can be operated both from the top down as a "window version" and with lateral extraction as "door version". Both versions are possible in one box.

ENERGY SAVING DURING RENOVATION - ENERGY SAVING MADE EASY

If the EXTE EXAKT shutter box is used in renovation work, it will be considered part of the window from a heat insulation point of view. It will then basically be considered as the “upper frame broadening” that is delivered and installed together with the window. There are, in this sense, two requirements:

1. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS REGARDING HEAT INSULATION

The temperature factor fRsi = 0,70 is the lowest admissible value on the inside of a structure joint detail for preventing the growth of mildew. This is equivalent to a low internal surface temperature of 12,6 °C under normal conditions. The temperature factor is determined at three points.

2. REQUIREMENTS REGARDING THERMAL TRANSFER COEFFICIENTS OF THE OVERALL ELEMENT

The window including the roller shutter box may not exceed a maximum thermal transfer coefficient of 1,3 W/m2 K. The thermal transfer coefficient is in this regard derived from the individual thermal transfer coefficients of the window element and of the roller shutter box in proportion to their portion of the area.

ROLLER SHUTTER BOXES AND ENERGY SAVING REGULATIONS

The German Energy Saving Ordinance (EnEV) represents the legal basis for heat insulation in roller shutter boxes. A distinction is made here between:

New buildings – the box is a fixed element in the outer wall and old buildings – the roller shutter box is visible and is considered part of the window.
